The Eastbay 7428 Shoot-Out

 Today, July 6th, at 12 noon (PT) the month long event begins.  The winner will receive a $1000 gift card from Eastbay for their designated charity.

- All voting takes place on Twitter @SportsStoriesDL  -

  • The Eastbay 7428 Shoot-Out pits video footage of twelve SSDL guests’ pre-interview basketball shots against each other in a single-elimination tournament on Twitter (@SportsStoriesDL) determined by online votes.

  • The twelve basketball shots have been evaluated and seeded into a single-elimination bracket (attached).

    1. The video that receives the most online votes in each “match-up” advances to the next round.  Voters are allowed one vote per "match-up”.  

    2. Please note:  Voting takes place only on Twitter @SportsStoriesDL

    3. The voting period for each “match-up” will last three days and will be promoted on SSDL social media platforms.

    4. The Eastbay 7428 Shoot-Out will run from July 6th to August 7th

Anaheim, CA - Each Thursday in July, SSDL will present an episode in a five part series with volleyball great Karch Kiraly, an interview recorded on January 17th at the USA Volleyball National Team Center.   The 3x Olympic gold medalist, widely considered the best player in the history of the game, discusses his youth, playing career and current position as the USA Womens Olympic head coach.  Episodes available at: YouTube.com/SportsStorieswithDennyLennon
