90045 - With careful consideration given to this difficult time in our country, Sports Stories with Denny Lennon (SSDL) will postpone the SSDL5 LIVE Shows this week.
The announced SSDL5 Monday interview with author Dan Coonan has been rescheduled to Monday, June 8th.
We anticipate a return of the “VBC", “High School to Olympics” and “Happy Hour” Live Shows on their scheduled nights June 9, 10 and 12.
SSDL will publish the video/audio podcast that drops each Thursday this week.
June 4th: SSDL will drop part 1 of 4 with the first post-WW2 Black-American professional baseball and football player, Norm Bass. After being forced into retirement with severe rheumatoid arthritis, Bass resurfaced later in life as a Paralympic tennis table athlete, winning the bronze medal in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.
SSDL is proud to tell this remarkable story. The interview, which will be broken up into four parts, was recorded on February 27th at The Coffee Company in Westchester, CA.
Watch the episode on the SSDL YouTube channel or listen wherever you get your podcasts. Links are available on the SSDL website.
